BOSTON PIZZA INTERNATIONAL INC. AND BOSTON PIZZA ROYALTIES INCOME FUND TO ANNOUNCE SECOND QUARTER 2010 FINANCIAL RESULTS ON AUGUST 12^th 

VANCOUVER, BC, (August 5, 2010) – Boston Pizza International Inc. (“BPI”) and Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund (the “Fund”) (TSX: BPF.UN) today announced that they will issue second quarter 2010 results via news release and on the Fund’s website at www.bpincomefund.com on the morning of August 12, 2010.

The Fund will also host a conference call with BPI’s President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Pacinda and Chief Financial Officer Mark Powell to discuss the results for the second quarter 2010, which ended on June 30, 2010. The call will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time (11:30 a.m. Eastern Time).

The Fund is a limited purpose, open-ended trust established under the laws of British Columbia to acquire indirectly certain trade marks and trade names used by BPI in its Boston Pizza restaurants in Canada.  The trade marks are licensed to BPI for 99 years for which BPI pays the Fund equal to 4% of franchise revenues of Boston Pizza restaurants in the royalty pool in Canada. 

The trustees of the Fund have approved the contents of this news release.
